DESCRIPTION
When it comes to all-around performance among rim brake wheels, the Jet RC Black series has no rivals. Starting with a 21mm internal, 25mm external rim width, HED's Jet RC Black wheels feature best-in-class performance in both aerodynamics and braking technology.
We spent hundreds of hours testing and refining a textured braking surface, called Turbine Braking Technology. With special machining and anodizing, the result is a clean, all-black appearance and confidence-inspiring braking performance.
How good is that performance? Compared to other rim brake carbon wheels on the market, 25% shorter stopping distances in dry conditions and 70% shorter stopping distances in wet conditions. Read that again. Our all-black, textured alloy brake track, seamlessly matched to a hyper-aero carbon rim section, give you all-around riding performance with none of the concerns of carbon braking surfaces.
Every facet of wheel performance has been closely analyzed in the Jet RC Black series. From aerodynamics to braking. With performance like that, these Jets will do anything but fly under the radar
With the 55mm fairing depth, you get a wheel like none other HED offers, a more durable every-day wheel that will handle crosswinds better, but still one with all the speed and aerodynamics you would get from other Black Series wheels. Add to that a bit of a lighter total weight, and you have an incredible wheel that few others will ever have.
Tech notes:
1. For all types of bicycle wheels, a hard strike on the rim is likely to result in rim damage. At the point of impact, an aluminum rim will dent, and a carbon rim may delaminate - both are unsafe conditions that require rim replacement.
2. Tire pressure = 90psi MAX
3. We do NOT recommend hanging a bike equipped with Jet wheels from hooks - this can damage the carbon skin and will not be covered under warranty.
4. You MUST use brand new brake pads when switching to Ardennes and Jet Black wheels. Old pads may contain metal flakes that can damage the rim finish. -- Grab a set HERE!

Warranties are processed in the following manner:
- Item is to be returned to MBS with prior approval, and at the buyers expense.
- MBS will contact manufacturer to process warranty claim.
- If warranty is denied, and it is outside of 30 days no refunds will be processed, and the return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
- If the warranty is denied within 30 days of purchase, the customer will have the option of a refund less 15% restocking fee for the used item per our return policy, or to pay shipping for the return of the item to the customer.
- If warranty is approved by the manufacturer, we will follow their protocols to obtain a replacement item.
- When the replacement item arrives to MBS, MBS will ship the replacement item to the customer at no additional charge to the customer.

What happens if I make a return?
If you need to return part or all of your order, Klarna will issue you with a new statement. Simply follow the retailer's return instructions and make sure to take note of the tracking number. Log into your Klarna account, select "report a return", and we'll pause your statement. As soon as the retailer has processed your return, we will send an adjusted invoice.
There's something wrong with my order. Do I still need to pay for it?
You do not need to pay for goods that are received damaged, broken, or defective. Follow the retailer's dispute instructions and "report a problem" in your Klarna account to pause your statement until the issue is resolved. As soon as the retailer has registered your return, the refund will be processed within 5-7 business days.
I have not received my order. What happens to my statement?
You do not need to pay the statement until you have received your order. Contact the retailer for a delivery update, log into your Klarna account, and "report a problem" to pause your statement until you've received your order.
